Book: Water for Elephants

Review: This book was excellent.  I could not put it down.  The author gives us a fantastic view of what life is like in a nursing home, as well as the world of the traveling circus during the great depression.  I love books where I get to learn something new.  Besides learing all about the circus there is a reference about someone who becomes paralyzed by drinking jake (jamican extract), which also gives a clear picture about how hard times were during the great depression and the dark side of prohibition.
