Welcome to the Funny Farm

You know, with all the things I do in a day, you wouldn't believe that I've got any time left to start another blog, but I'm going to anyway. Why? Because I can. Ok, so you're probably wondering who this crazy lady is that has just popped up out of nowhere. Well, allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Christine, and I'm a freelance writer. I've been writing forever, well since I was 10 anyway. I run several other blogs, most of which are for other writers. I offer writing prompts on one site, and tips on creative writing on another. You can find those links over there on the side, so I won't clog up my first post with a bunch of links.
I also spend a lot of time writing short stories, poetry, and informative articles on everything from vacation sites to historical information to the history of cellulite. It's not pretty, but what the heck. I've written one e-book on writing prompts, and I'm working on a second one. I'm hoping to have it ready by Christmas, but that's what I said last year. On top of all that, I also write for other bloggers. I do guest posts on a few other sites, and sometimes get paid for it. However, I've been known to do it just because someone asked me nicely.
On top of all that, I'm a wife and a mom. I've been married for 18 years to a guy who thinks I'm a nut job for spending so much time in front of the computer. But, he's a great guy and has come to terms with it. I have two teenagers that are into just about everything. My son is just about to make Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts, is a wrestler, and is into weight lifting. My daughter is a cheerleader and joins every choir competition that comes along. Between the two of them, I'm exhausted.
In the coming days and weeks, I'm hoping to post some useful information here, as well as a little of my own weirdness. If you spend anytime reading this blog, you'll find out why it is that I say to you all, Welcome To The Funny Farm.
