4/9/2005 - why i think anarchism wont work
well i got to admit,Nicholas has got a point.I agree with him that anarchism is the most ideal of the ideologies that exist today. However, I personally dont believe it is practical as although it may be the most suitable for the people in the world,it is impossible to ask everyone to comply to the guidelines of anarchism.Firstly,an idealistic anarchism realm is that everyone should get equal amount of food and goods etc(not exploited by an unfair government nicholas says). Although this is ideal, there is bound to be people who would thirst for more, have their unsatiable greed and will end up having more than what they are supposed to have.Exploiters are inevitable and may even be escalated more in anarchism than in meritocracy and capitalism as more people will be unsatisfied with what they got.People often like to compare with each other, they will never be satisfied if their neighbour is on par with them, thus they would want to be better, this is where the exploiting will come in....cheating,stealing,robbing and even murder,to gain a advantage over another.....furthurmore,in anarchism, with no government, there is no laws set and thus none to abide by.These acts of murder and cheating will then be justifyable, and they will get away scott-free.Anarchism will result in chaos and more people unhappiness than the current system holds simply because humans arent perfect and anarchism is meant for the perfect society-eutopia.....BMW
