31/5/2006 - Ministry of Sound
went for a Ministry of Sound event yesterday night. I met Maw Chearng after rushing to Choa Chu Kang (Yeah that was weird) and we rushed to clarke quay to catch the 16 and above event at the Ministry of Sound, which cost 18 bucks. We got there about 1030. and we queued. and queued. we started about 3 buildings away and got in around 1230. evidently they over invited as at some stages they allowed people in in proportion to the people going out, meaning we waited outside the barricade. Organisation is poor, but for a debut clubbing occasion for me, it was very pleasant, not a surprise at all, things i kinda expected, the beauty pf mass media, and movies got me prepared for it. haha. i danced, i drank abit of terri's bottle only to span my paltry?sum of alcohol for that night. terri was mildly drunk after drinking 1-2 bottles from 7-eleven, but xiaoting was kinda drunk. poor girl, night ruined. esmond too, applaud him he did what good friends should do. i wanted to fulfill my purpose: dance, drink. i did little of both but i had fun. Maw got in as 18 and happily drank at the alcohol section 51. Terri was kinda tipsy and well yeah thats how it was. then a about 0230 we left. we queued more than we stayed. too little people dancing we knew, too many people there. but it was fun, pity the short span of time. pity the fact that everyone went home after eating at lau pa sat, that means esmond, maw and yvonne. i wonderered around, took a cab and wondered round and round again,before coming home. not the end i wanted but well, good debut.good experience

lets turn back time even more, before the MOS i was supposed to study, of course i didnt study in the morning. supposed to meet marian and amanda in the afternoon at toa payoh library, then marian fell sick and then amanda and danile asked to meet at kallang macs. it obviously is the stadium one so i walked. alas! they were at the geylang one where the road is geylang lor 3 outside the kallang MRT. confusing i know but i should know. instead of taking 8 minutes on the 12 i had to walk and walk and wait for the 12 and took an hour. i was already so frustrated, and they say i made them wait? farcical, its a joke. anyway so i was about half mad and insane at them. and they got irritated. ah well i would think amanda would know better. and yea so justin theo was there too, and someone called audrey who left almost imeediately, i guess it has to do with me. so what the hell, forgive me for living, sheesh. and yeah forgot about studying, went to play daytona where i owned and dota where justin theo totally owed...ah well, then came home. and i knew that my friends like amanda and daniel know whats really going on, and peace out we are still friends despite all the jacking and ribbing. i hope im not proven wrong. now time for bed. 8.15 am, sign out....
