      A  FIASCO AT THE OLYMPICS.

This is an old story but I thought I would add it on
with the rest of my ramblings. At the time.....at our

little writers gathering each week we had to write a

piece on drugs at the olympics. So I wrote this

tongue in cheek bit of nonsense.

               
Sampson Crackenbush a big staocky drug crazed
individual wandered out onto the track today at

the Olympics all doped up with steroids and

woopy weed among other things coursing through

his system. Representing what country no one knew?

"Hey man where is this place?
Never seen anything like it!"

He says to the official. All the other athletes line

up and an announcement is made introducing each

representative and their country to the crowd. He 

hears some mumbo jumbo about 800 meters but

wonders where all these strange aliens have hailed

from and what's he supposed to do?  The starters

gun goes off and all the athletes take off, should

he run along behind them? Oh no! For some reason

he runs in the opposite direction around the track

in a crazed frantic haphazard flurry of unusual
speed 

               
As he approaches each runner coming in the opposite
direction he delivers a knock out blow to their heads

and keeps running until he is the last man left, he

crosses the finish line and is declared the winner.

Sampson Crackenbush steps up onto the podium

and an Olympic official steps forward to put the
gold medal around his neck.

"Hey man what's this piece of worthless shit you

are giving me? Can't smoke it, can't inject it, what
the hell do you think I am going to do with it? 
              

The poor hapless official shrugs his shoulders
not having ever witnessed anything like it before.

Now, no country wants to claim him. The Greeks

don't want anything to do with him.
The Australians say.

"You play our National Anthem mate--You'll
end up drowned in a billabong with a well-known
swaggie and his jumbuck mate."
So they play some obsure Olympic hymn and run
a black piece of cloth up the pole and

hope they never witness anything like this

aberration at the games ever again.
