ANOTHER DAY MARCHES IN.

Time keeps marching past at an alarming rate of

speed, Where does it go in such a hurry? Today

is the 14th September, simply mind boggling can't

get a grip of why there is never enough time in the

day. Good news for Steve my husband of 38 years....

Our Son in law Timothy is taking him to the footy

on Friday night to see his team  St. Kilda play

Sydney Swans. He hasn't been to the footy for over

 40 years.

As a young New Comer to this land of Australia,

he heard clapping and cheering coming from a

footy oval in St.Kilda, thinking it was a soccer

match, he decided to go and have a look see.

When he purchased his ticket and went in he

was totally mystified. This was not soccer and

to confuse him further they were playing with

an odd shaped ball, like an egg. What was this

game he wondered? The more he watched the

more he was intrigued and so a love affair with

the game of Aussie Rules was born and has 

remained to this day...So he is off to see his

beloved Saints team try to get into the Grandfinal.

I hope they win, with him there watching St. Kilda

the team he has loved all these years.
