ONCE IN A LIFE TIME?

          

                                           

      

          As he watched all agape, he didn´t notice the large

throng of spectators that were gathering on the footpath

beside him to also view the odd show of reverence for a

water fountain. By now the couple were down to their birth

suits and what a striking pair to behold, he thought. Such

beautiful slender Venus like bodies, just a shame, that...

"They must be stark raving mad he mused."

Yes; too much dry hay in the loft and a shingle or two

short of a roof.

          "Couldn´t possibly be normal he muttered to himself,"

but audible, and drew a here, here! With loud guffaws from

the crowd every last one of them was spell bound, waiting to

see what this couple of nude fountain worshipers, oblivious

and unperturbed by their audience would do next. They didn´t

have to wait long, as if on cue the pare hopped into the

fountain and bathed and then Christened each other. Now we

are as pure as the driven snow they chanted and declared that

the universe had made them pure and divine. In whose eyes

he wondered as the pair danced around the fountain again in

pursuit of the suns rays to warm their pure and refreshed

spirits. Purely mad is all I can say he mumbled, never

seen anything like it in all my born days. Then he was in

total disbelief, they were actually getting married. Her in

a bridal veil...only, and he in a top hat, stark naked the pair

of them.

"Good Lord!"

He said;

"I really have seen the lot now and I'm pretty sure that

no one will believe me in a thousand years."
