THE HEAT WAVE IS KNOCKING ME FOR A SIX.

Heat Wave...

Please Go!

Here I am at the end of one hell of a heat wave. Yesterday it was 43% enough to

knock one for a six! Today we are having a little respite from all that heat of the

last few days. But it will be back on Thursday (Australia Day) we are told...43%

again to be exact. Everything is wilting with distress and the garden is so dry...it's

like a desert. Oh well I guess that's summer here in this neck of the woods, at

least we don't have the terrible fires that our country folk have to contend with.

How distressing to not only have the heat wave but fires come and detroy your

home and animals all in one foul swoop, my heart aches for these people who

are the salt of the earth, toiling away on their land, only to have it destroyed by

a fire storm raging through they're little part of the world. Please God bring some

well overdue rain and wet us down and refresh the bush and farmland along with

our city gardens.Oh! Well I'm off for now. Take good care of yourselves out in

blog land.
