A STORY ABOUT THE AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL EMBLEM...KANGAROOS.  My son Fred (His nick name) is in the Australian Army and he was re posted in January and the particular Army Base he is at has approximately... WAIT FOR IT. Sixteen Thousand Kangaroos sharing the whole Army Base with the Army. They sit on the road and won't move and people in cars just have to drive around them. He tells me, he has a big buck that camps on his door step and keeps an eye on his harem of wives of which he has around 39 at last count. The Army Base is like manna from Heaven to these Australian Kanga's, because it has a good supply of bore water and every thing is green and lush so food and water are no problem. They are beautiful to look at but one should always be very weary about the big bucks because they can rip your innards out with the flash of an eye, especially if you stray to close to his harem. It's a good home for Kangaroos. It seems they may take over sooner or later and kick the Army out. Now that would be world news! P/S The last time I visited there they had around 11,ooo Kangaroos, so they are breeding very well. SO THE NEXT TIME SOME WELL MEANING WAG TELLS YOU THE AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL EMBLEM IS IN DANGER, YOU CAN SAY BULLDUST.
