APPRECIATION OF LIFE AND MY LOVELY FAMILY. Today is Easter Sunday and my Husband and I have been preparing a barbacue late lunch for our Daughter, her Husband and our gorgeous Granddaughters. I have been on the telephone talking to our Son who is in the army and is going bush for a week with his men. I was lucky just caught him having lunch before they left. Talked with our Sons wife and our Littlest Granddaughter who is 2 and she had lots to say she chatted on like a real chatter box, non stop. She told me her Daddy is working, she has a dolly who is sleeping and Easter Bunny came. It is so hard being a soldiers family as they are away a lot. I praise his wife every time I talk to her for she is a wonderful and dedicated Wife and Mother. She hasn't seen her husband our Son since the 6th of January 2006. He will return home in May for 3 weeks if he is lucky. We may be lucky enough to catch up with our lovely boy when he comes down to an army base near Melbourne in two weeks time. He is hoping to get home to our abode and visit. I went to visit my Mum yesterday with 2 of my friends and we had such a lovely day. Mum had made some beautiful cakes and made us nice hot tea and the hours just wizzed by. In the evening hubby and I visited a dear friend and neighbour in hospital, she has had breast cancer rear it's ugly head again and had to have her other breast off. We are praying she will have good news in so far as the cancer hasn't spread to anywhere else in her body.We had a lovely visit and she is in fine spirits and is very possitive. So this little bit of blurb I'm typing is really about appreciation of our blessings in life. A beautiful loving family, good friends and love abounding around everywhere. I was listening to one of our Granddaughters play her keyboard over the phone this morning and I was thinking as she played how blessed we are on this very chilly Autumn Easter Sunday 2006, Yes truly blessed, for which I thank the almighty Great Spirit of God. 22:39 - Sunday, April 16, 2006 - post commentShare and enjoy
