CRIKEY! IT SEEMS I HAVE STIRRED THE POSSUM!

G’day to all those of you who commented on my reaction
to the series of television shows “America exposed uncut”
It is a series made by Americans so I was only commenting
on what the actual stories on the series exposed. I was
commenting on ordinary citizens running around with
bibles saying this one and that one was going to go to hell
for being of a faith that they despised. Now my reaction to
those  holier-than-thou types is like waving a red flag at a
bull. I was not having a go at the country as a whole just
some of it’s injustices and how some of the authorities will
not even... When they know they are wrong budge an inch to
make it right. I did not claim we are perfect over here in the
land of Australia by any stretch of the imagination and
our forbears did make many boo boo’s! Our police forces
have been investigated and hauled over the coals for corruption. 
However we do not execute people in our prisons, hence making
the state just as evil as the convicted murderer. And you are
right the aborigines could have been dealt a better hand of
cards and a more even playing field, but successive
governments have been remiss in dealing with their problems.
The governments of all persuasions have largely left the
issue of aborigines to a string of missionaries who are in the
main thought of as bible toting do gooders. Whether this is
true or not is open to speculation.It is true we started
out as a convict penal settlement in 1788 but some of the
crimes were of little consequence…Dear old Mother England
sent people here for the crime of stealing a slice of bread or
killing a rabbit or a bird just to eat, and prostitutes by the
dozen. My first forbears came of their own volition in 1848.
I was raised up as a Christian...Church of England although  
my Grandfather was a Methodist and my Dad and Mum
Church of England and I was taught the tenets of that
faith by my Father and Grandfather and I was Christened
in the little creek down the bank behind the farm house
because neither my Dad nor my Grandfather could see the
reason for a church seeing Jesus only preached in the open
spaces.I did go to Sunday school until the little old church
fell over and was no more. I was told if I needed to pray or
talk to God just kneel down under a gum tree and converse
with him and he will listen and above all always be kind
and help where you can. I have my Grandmothers well worn
bible and a little one I recieved at school. I married a Catholic 
and had to promise to raise my children Catholic which I did.
So for the past 39 years I have been a catholic more or less. I
have a cousin who loves the Pagan ways and we have talked
many times about how many of their belief systems have been
taken up by Christianity. I try to embrace all religions because
as I said and maintain they all are based on the same tenet...ie;
LOVE ALL, SERVE ALL, HELP EVER, HURT NEVER.
So if I offended any of my American blog cobbers I'm sorry.

America Uncut

Well I live in America and I read the America exposed uncut post and I really do not see what people are getting so riled up about. I mean really. Some people can just be soo touchy I swear. I did not find anything offensive in what you said and overall agreed with it. Though perhaps I feel the way I do becasue I am 1. Not a Christain and 2. Not a patriot.

But when the fuck did we ever keep it a secret!!!



America has always let it all hang out! We're the drunken asshole passed out on the couch with our hand down our pants! We're so overexposed you can see right through us like god dammed fried chicken grease on paper! There is an epidemic in the states right now, its called "Fundamentalism" and it has already caused a big assed rift in this country. Now we live seperated, one side is called "Jesusland" and the other the United States of Canada. I recently escaped persecution in Jesusland and settled down in Portland. But now I have to live on the fringe, on the edge... And who knows! They could start an invasion at any moment! How could I ever think of raising a child in this sorry shit filled mess. I am scared for my country. For the first time in my life I am truly scared for my "people". I know others will make it through...



But this is the beginning of the end for "Americuh".
