A FAIRY QUEEN ON THE MEADOW LAY.Written by Dawn M 2006.A Fairy Queen on the meadow lay Seven wondrous nights and one long day What was it, she was eating? Fresh cake and rose petals sweet. Her beautiful arbour was full and replete Fine long stemed roses and lily power Sweet spring water running clear Violets and cowslips waved in a big ring.
