A TEN PAGE CHILDRENS BOOK WITH ILLISTRATIONS?

On Monday morning at U3A, in our little writing group our instructor said. "Pick an experience from your childhood and write one word to head it!" So I wrote down Comet the name of a horse with big attitude. Then she said. "Now I want you to write a 10 page childrens story based on your experience with pictures." I have been procrastinating all week but, it is now Thursday morning and so... I will have to stop procrastinating and get a few words on paper. What a task! Oh well guess tonight I will make a start and see what sort of story I can muster. Should be a very interesting exercise just seeing if I have the talent to get anything meaningful on paper that a child of about 10 years of age would like to read. Wish me luck.
