"CRICKET" WHAT A WONDERFUL GAME!

I haven’t written much of late because it is summer here and

with the summer season comes the cricket season and I am

addicted to cricket. England is out here on tour for the Ashes

Test Matches which Australia won five"”nil.

So figuratively speaking we have won the Ashes back but no

they are only here on tour and will return to their home at the

Lords cricket ground in England and our team was given a crystal

replica, which has to suffice. Now the domestic 20/20 games

are on and the 50/50 one-day games are about to start.

These games will be between Australia, England and New Zealand

and hopefully will be interesting and exciting but I have to say

my heart lies with the test games but most people love the

excitement of the one day games. And competing for my attention

is the tennis lots of it in every State at the moment leading up

to the Australian Open tournament. So if I go absent you will

know I’m glued to my television watching all the action.

Thanks for your comment! I once read something really funny about the rules of cricket--it may have even been on a t-shirt, but I can't find it. It just made the rules sound confusingly funny. I'm glad you enjoy it so much.
