GOING CHEAP SOME HOT SUMMER SUN.

It is so hot here that I think I am going to melt away to a grease spot.

How I long for rain lots of it to settle the dust and soak the ground...

And make everything fresh once more.

I have had my air conditioner on 24/7 and it is still hot and clammy,

But I have to say it would be unbearable with out it,

So for this I thank God for my good fortune.

I have been worried about my youngest Granddaughter Codi

Who has been in hospital with the chicken pox,

She got a staph infection in her blood stream...

When one of the chicken pox blisters burst.

She is not allowed to scratch when they itch...

And to achieve this she has to be kept sedated and fed Panadol,

To keep her temperature down.

Dear little mite, I feel so sorry for her and her brother Joshua,

Who both have this dreaded chicken pox together.

But this is a phase of the growing up,

"Road of their life,"

One of the many obstacles they will face on this journey called life.

I suppose I had better go to bed seeing it is past 2:00AM in the morning,

Or I will not be to bright and bushy tailed the morrow!

So on that note I say Hooroo for now.

Poor Codi!

That's terrible! The one thing I learned when I was in nursing school is that kid are sooooo resiliant; they bounce back! All my best wishes, love, and hugs!

Heat

Poor you...I know what it's like to be uncomfortable in the humid heat. That's one of the reasons why I moved away from Italy, but now with global warming it makes little difference in the summer. May I suggest some hypnotherapy/relaxation techniques to quickly visualise a cooler environment? Sounds whacky but it may well work. Take care from the Office Troll xxx
