RESPECT LOVE COMPASSION

HOPE DIGNITY JUSTICE

An elder Cherokee Native American

Was teaching his Grandchildren about life.

He said to them,

"A fight is going on inside me...

It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.

One Wolf...

Represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity,

guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other Wolf stands for...

Joy, peace, love, hope, friendship, empathy, generosity,

truth, compassion, and faith.

The same fight is going on inside all of you,

And inside every other person, too.

"They thought about it for a minute...

And then one Grandchild asked his Grandfather,

"Which wolf will win?"

The old Cherokee simply replied...

"The one you love respect and feed." _____

Footnote...

It stands to reason that if people of all races and genders

are treated with respect, and have food on their table

and love in their home they will be compassionate and generous ect.

But when people are treated like human trash, have their dignity

removed through war and famine and other influences they will be

resentful, angry and uncaring. We the human populace of this

world have to wake up and learn to be more generous, understanding,

compassionate, caring and treat everyone with respect and human

dignity regardless of race, creed/religion, colour, pretty, plain,

handsome or not so handsome, we all are created the same we are

all born the same and we all have red blood and bleed if cut deep enough.

Why can't there be more people in the world like you Dawnie? What would you do if someone was deliberately ignoring you and refusing to speak to you because they think they're too good for you. Can you ever change someone? Can you ever make someone realize that maybe we should be civil to people? I don't say it enough, but I so strongly admire your personality and loving outlook. I could stand to be more like you too.
