There are things that we~

Don’t want to happen but~

Have to accept,

Things we don’t want to know~

But have to learn,

People we can’t live without~

But have to let go.

Grief’s rain fills many streams,

Which flow and ebb over time,

And finally soothe the pain.

Thank you so much for your kind comments, Dawnie. God Bless you and your son for his brave service to our country. We have several families in my Sunday School class at church who have sons serving right now. In each account, they talk about how each one decided to join the armed forces. In every case, their son said they had a burning desire to do it. I am thankful for every soldier who has felt that and acted upon it. Freedom is not free, and it disturbs me the lack of will many in this country have to support our troops, much less defeat an enemy. They truly are the ones who deserve the most respect of any class of people in this country.

Yes, you say true ,there are things that we don't want to happen but have to accept ,
