CONFESSIONS OF A TAXICAB...

Last night I watched this program from America called___

CONFESSIONS OF A TAXICAB! IN NEW YORK.

Well my God what a show, interesting characters and language.

Fair dinkum I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

The passenger gets in and unbeknown to them there is a camera rolling.

The driver gets them chatting about all sorts mainly sex where they live

and what they do, who they are living with, sleeping with.

Where they are going tonight and what are they looking for?   

Well by the time the hour was up I was thinking

where else but in America would they hang every detail about their

sex hang ups and pervertish behaviour hang out for all the world to

hear about. Some of the characters although mixed up and certainly

different were likable types on the face of it. So I suppose it is a

lesson not to jump to judge to eagerly. And each to his own.

Step up and march to the music of the piper you hear.

But a very interestingly eye opening experience for me,

I must say. At the end of the ride apparently they do tell them they

have been recorded and do they have any objections about being on tele?

Obviously none of them did because the show went to air.

AH! WELL AS THEY SAY THAT'S LIFE IN THE BIG SMOKE!

Hi Dawnie

I saw that show but could only take about ten seconds of it. For a really good taxi show, try to find "Cash Cab". It's hilarious. People who happen to hail this cab are put on a game show during their ride, complete with flashing ceiling lights. It's really cute. I love the pessimism quote to by the way. The others are good too, but this one really applies to me!

People need to relax a little.

Untitled Comment

We've been having a show like this for years, and at times it got extremely profane. Then one day a small Somali boy at imminent risk of deportation back to Somalia got in the cab, and after that the show has rehabilitated itself completely. The show is produced by a Christian broadcasting corporation, but they don't seem to have filtered anything out.
