Falun

Orphaned as a young girl, she was taken in by one of the kings knights who happend upon her and took heart, raising her as his own. She would grow to be quite stubbron and headstrong, and came to disagree with her adoptive father, and the only she ever knew on many points, but still a special bond always joined them. She disagreed with the violence of war, and she fell into appretinship with an old woman of the village, where it was discovered she had natural gifts, though unable to break away completely from the life in which she was raised, she into into a service as a healer for the millitary, though her quick tounge and dominering nature left some of the bravest and most dangerous men unwilling to cross her.

6/24/2009 - Isola

Isola

Her mother a pirestess, defying her orders when she had become inpregenented in order to conceal it, left the child abandoned within the woods. She was discovered by a dargon, seeing her but a helpless babe, and posing know threat, he took her in, but in order for her to survive he had to fuse his own essence into her own establishing a bind between them. Becasue of this there exisits a mindlink between them, as well in times of need she can channel the dragon's fire, and became his rider, but the bond prohibits them from being seperated from each other. They must always reamin close.

They do not call her a warlock for now reason, she has a special brand of sorcery which she brings with her on the battle feild, exeprtly trained in all arts of war both natural and supernatural, she fuses her magic ablity in her ablity to fight.Going against the typical orders of sorcery not to use physcial acts of violence or handle the weapons of moral men, and to use offenstive magic only when nesscary, she was given the black name of warlock, a name of excile, which often is whispered in dark rumurs, and comes to be sysnomous with deceiver, oath-breaker, liar, and one not to be trusted at any costs. In spite of her quick temper, her infamay and her general enjoyment of the battlefield, she is a woman who is not ashamed of her feminine qualties nor of her enjoyment of men, she can be a ready and quick flirt. Not afraid at times to use the fact that she is a woman to get her out of a jam when all else fails.

Her mother was exciled from the village after she had become pregenent out of wedlock, as a child she was isolated as the other children were warned away form her and would not play with her, and spoke rumurs and gossip about her and her mother. As she started to grow she showed signs of being gifted, and her mother feared this would add to her problems if others found out. When she was old enough, she was scent away with a gypsy camp where she would be acepted and looked after, but she had a strong indpenendet streak and would never forget how the others treated her. She trained herself how to defend herself and became a skilled warrior.

The little known daughter of the legendary King Arthur she was secereted away for her own protection, showing some of the poetential signs that her sisters have for a work within the arts. She was schooled in the Temple of the Lady, but knowlege of her brith and family was kept from her, then one day she was called. Long after the death of her father, the world called again for a new hero, and she of the bloodline, and with the gift was called upon to find the new hero and bring him back before it was too late.

As a girl she grew up in a region that viewed the "gift" with suspsision and those who had the power had to swear and oath not to use thier power unless with premission of the king or council. Those who had the gift came to view it with resenement. When it was discovered that she had ablity she could see the way her parents looked upon her as if she were an abnormality. She could find no one to teach her how to use it. Living as an outcast as the other children avioded her, when she began to grew into a woman her parents seeking to be rid of her sought to make a marraige for her. She pleaded with her parents against the match but they would not listen. In a fit of panic and anger refusing to let herself be used in such a way she unleashed her power. Her act was discovered and she was captured and severely punnished. After being beaten, a burning liquid was poured into her eyes blinding her, and she was exiled from the village. Being cast into darkness she concerned herself with dark matters, and life, she stuided the magic and art of bones and became "The Bonewoman" those most desperate would seek her for help.

She alwyas had been a daydreamer, something which often caused her a bit of trouble in school, she often found herself  lost within her thoughts and spent much of her time enganged within a book. When one day her life came to be changed forever. She slipped into one of her day dreams and seemed unable to remerge from it, but when she woke she found herself not back home, but rather within the dream itself, seemingly unable to wake herself from it. But that alone was not enough, for she herself was altered as strange powers would be awakend within her as she cotninued her journey, seeming to have in fact been choosen for some quest.

She once served as a court bard using the great skill for music that her kind is marked by she could play enchanting tales upon her flute, but her heart was taken by one of the young nobelmen. Her own family being of a humble background she was snubbed for her station but taken advantage of for the simple caranl desire of her love and than cast aside. She was left devestated when a rare opperutnity came to her. A new beignning and a new life, muisc was not the only thing elves had a talent for and she entered a guild of presetegious assissans.

Her mother died when she was a young girl and so she was raised by her fahter, a feared and resepcted warrior within the village, he adored his only child. Her father had a gift, what some call the blood rage, and was known was a berserker making him a near unstable warrior and fearsome in battle. As his only child she inhereted the trait so she was tained by her father. When he was killed during a raid from a rival clan she came to hold a place of leadership and esteem within the village.

Born of noble parents she always had a rebel soul and a passion for dance and preformance, set for an arragened marraige she fled from home with a young traveling actor whom turned to be a scamp. Disowned from her family and left alone she joined a dance troup. Her experinces have left a coldness within her heart which keeps her at a distance from others.

Once she worked in the archer divison of the millitary, but when she was injured in war and had her sight impaired she was sent home and could never again regain her posistion. Known for the skill she poccessed she was comissioned to act as a personal tutor for the heirs of some of the most noted families.

It is her lifes ambition and desire to be an achritecht. She has always had an eye for building and loves figuring things out and dreams of creating monuments that will immortalize her, but as a woman the feild is closed to her. In order to acomplish her wishes she has taken the guise of a young boy and secured and apprenteiship with a builder where she hopes she can rise up the ranks.

The daughter of a wealthy lord but of little courtly influence her beauty and grace had struck the fancy of the King and she was summoned before him. To refuse the King would have been the ruin of her family so she had little choice, she could not deny a certain thrill before the King's presence and did not find him disagreable, but his whims are short lived. So she was cast aside and now ruined she could not aquire a husband. Now a disgrace to her family, she had little recourse but to turn to a brothel.

Being a recluse and prefering to be left alone, she never felt that just becasue she was gifted meant she owed something speical to the world and must dedicate her time to some greater good. She tended to be more of a self-preservationist. So she has but her abltities to work in making her a profit while some might disagree with her motives and her intentions. She dedicated herself to the life of a bounty hunter where she tracks down some of the most ruthless known cirminals whom have evaded all other forms of capture.

Once she was of a great noble house with her family was persuctued for "sorcery" for thier use of the magic arts which was viewed with skeptisim among the people and they were accused of bringing bad luck and spoiling the crops and consorting with evil spirits. In order to survive she had to hide her indenity and her gifts and ran away. Needing some means to live she became a tutor for a nobel family and must always keep her own idenity a secret and take care not to be discovered.

She is known as a Reader for the rare gift she has. She can lay her hands upon any book and instnatly know all that is writen within and memorize it soring it away within her mind. While seceretly she dedicates her stufy often to texts of magic, she also takes great interest in history. Her talents tend to often be used by royal houses for the sake of confidential information they do not wish to leave a paper trail of or for knowing the contents of sealed letters without breaking the seal. The information she posseses often puts her in great danger.

Her mother came from a strong wealthy family, when she was married off, to a man who was presumbly of good stanidng, but when bad bussines ventures and other faults drove him into debt, and it proved he did not have as much as much money as he led on, he sold his wife and young daughter to pirates. Her mother died at the difficult and harsh conditions, but she surrived and was kept as a servant, and a cook on board of the ship. It was a hard life, but she was determined not to give in and someday perhaps find freedom.

1/8/2009 - Anya

As an orpahn she was brought into the Temple where she was raised and taught. Having no outside distractions or family to think of, she was completely devoted to her stuides, the temple was her whole life and she began to rise quickly among the ranks. She excelled in all that she was taught, but showed a particular adeption to the learning of healing, and study of herbs, as well as mastery of the martial arts. While she is taught in the way of peace, and is against the use of violence, she is also taught, sometimes there is a need to fight and her skill is all but unmatched when that need arrives.

Born of wealth and privilege she finds the lifestyle to often be a bore, she tires of balls, and is annoyed with most the noble lords who think primiarly only of themselves. She was raised with a sensitivity for those less forutunate, and always voices against cruelty and enjustice. She lives a secret life as a masked rebel who protects the people from the shadows, while her true indeinity passess unknown. She is known as The Guardian among the poeple who view her as a myserious hero. Some even rumur her to be a supernatural force.

One thing she could not protect was her heart which was stolen by a dashing young lord Haden who was known to be something of a rouge and rebel. He was unlike the others and she often spied him from afar until the day thier paths directly crossed and it was her turn to have something stolen from her, but she did not regret for one moment.

Born into welath and luxury and spoiled as a child she was rather use to getting her way, and having every comfort. When there was rebellion stirring in the streets her parents sent her away with her borhter a merchant sailor for her own protection in case things esclalated. A strong willed woman with a quick temper, not taking no easily for an answer, she rather disliked having to travel in such condidtions and was quick to make demands and orders of everyone around her exepcting to be obeyed and treated as a proper lady.
