Adema

Once she was a powerful sorceress when the tower had turned against her, her powers were bound and she cast into exile. Never before having to live without her gifts, she did not know what to do, and felt the terrible loss within her. She had no where to go, and nothing but the clothes upon her back. She had been captured by slavers, having no means to defend herself without the use of her power, and was sold into slavery, though she can never get fully use to the idea of what she has become, and tends to be prideful and strong willed even when she has nothing any longer in which to back it up. Her struggles as a slave have helped to keep her mind off the great loss within her as now she has to fight for surviial and the hope of freedom.

She has a rare and unuusal gift. She is what they call a theif catcher. She has the ability to sniff out crime, she can sense acts of violence where they have occured and follow an invisibile trail. Theifcatchers can also by rather skilled at picking up varrious bits of information becasue they know the places to go, and often can be found among the very ones they are called to hunt down, moving in the undergrounds of the city. Inspite of thier useful work, not everyone apporves of them. A loner and rouge by nature.

Tara

She was trained by the best mystics, and learned power over all the elments. Water, fire, earth air, metal, and wood, she was also conditioned in the martial arts to be raised as the Keeper and Guardian of a sacred book, an Orcale book in which all the secerets of magic are contained, the wisdom too great to be destroyed, but disasterous if fallen into the wrong hands. At the completion of her training she was given the greates and worst gift of all. That if immorality, so she may always look after the book.

She was born with "The Calling" as it was called. The gift of the seer, a gift which in some ways could also be a curse, for with the power which came with it, there was also a terrible burdon that must be held. She is one of the youngest seers to pocesses the gift, and though she knows it is not her place to question fate, she often wonders why she of all people was choosen. She has to struggle against her feelings of being unworty, as she tries to find the confidence and strength she needs. She knows one of the things a seer cannot do is let themselves be intimidated, or else thier gifts may be misused by men of power who wish only to satisfy thier own greed. But it is the duty of a seer to help guide those of power into leading justly and rightly.

Orphaned as a young girl she was taken in by a man that most feared. He was a large imposing figure whom carried his own perosnal aresnal whereever he went. Kown to be cold and distant from others, a man who would not flinch at the thought of killing another. A hardend warrior, and to her, he was about the nicest and most gentle hearted person she ever met. While most would keep a clear path away from him, and tremble at the thought of incuring his wrath, as a child, she would sit upon his knee and giggle as he made funny faces at her. To his family, he was warm and generous. He saw something within her, and at a young age began training her in every weapon which he had in his pocession. She proved to be gifted and a quick learner. When one day she was out in the woods with the boys of the village, hunting and playing games, they saw smoke rise in the air, and heard cries from the village, but by the time they got there it was too late, the village was devestated, and her own family found dead. From that moment she set off to find who was responseable and make them pay.

Sonsa

Bested by none in her skill for dancing and once renound for her beauty, she charmed and enchanted the king, and was taken in as a favored concubine. Living the high life of luxury, no one would dare touch or insult her for fear of thier very life. But soon she would learn the king's passions were a fickle thing and he began to grow bored of her, his interest fadding more and more untill she was all but forgotton. Her world as she knew it came crashing down around her, she was fallen. Forced to a life upon the streets to feed and shelter her, no self-respecting lord would hire one of the king's rejects. Now voulnrable no longer having the portection she once possesd if she was not careful she fell easy prey to the whims of others.

Her mother was a mermaid while her father a mortal man, though the secerets of thier love will remain thier own, Sulin was born she had a very unusual trait, she could live both in land or water. Though shortly after her birth her mother had taken her back into the depths of the waters leaving her father behind, she always knew she was different even as she was raised among her mother's kind knowing nothing of her duel nature utnill one day. Things changed within thier underwater world with the spread of corruption and to protect her her mother sent her up to the surface where she could not be touched, though she knew nothing of life upon land and was much alone trying to find the truth of just who and what she really was.

Khia

She is a Dryad a powerful elemental with a spirtial connection to the trees. She lives deep within the wilderness and tends to be both shy and currious of strangers with a touch of a mischveious streak, but if offended in anyway, or if she feel her tree is being put in any danger she can be fericely territorial. Though she loves her forest home, it can be lonely at times as well. There are no male dryad's and dryad's by nature are solitary creatures so she is often alone but for the trees and animals within the woods.

As a young girl she was much taken with heroic tales and epic journey's, but unlike most girls it was not her dream nor wish to play the roll of the waiting damsel to be recused by some dashing knight, but she envied the heros who faced great danger and went on fantasicial adventures. She decided the wanted to be a knight, though this was often seen as just a phase and not taken seriously,but when she was old enough she set out to realize her dream only to meet with much hardship, she came from a small village and a farming family and had little money and no one would take her on as a squire they just laughed at her thinking it some joke and shoed her away. She decided she would simply make her own way, and works as a forest guide escourting others through dangerous and often bandit infested woodlands.

Her brother who was the ruling king, after the death of thier father, had sent his sister off to be wed to a king who could make a profitable and powerful aillence, but she was against the marraige as the man that was to be her husband was a good deal older than her. There was nothing she could do and she had no choice within the matter, but during the voyage to meet what was to be her husband she had an affair with one of the men sent to be her escourt, after the affair was discovered the man was killed and she was sent into exile and stripped of everything.

She was among a select group of choosen demons unleshed upon the world to bring in the reign of chaos and darkness and tempt the souls of mortals to thier side, but upon ariving in the realm of the middleworld, she was dawn in by the strange emotions and feelings experinced by humans which she had never known the like of before, and found the mortal creatures to be rather currious beings. She wanted to experince life in this new way to know things she had never known before. When it was discovered that she had strayed, she became a renegade and was hunted by the others, while never truly being accepted among humankind for what she is. She lives in exile of both worlds.

The young princess is often left to feel more like a prisoner within her own home. Though meaning well her father wishes to keep his daughter protected and sheltered from anything that could compromise her or anything unpleasent, and often keeps matters of the kingdom from her to keep her from worrying. But she is not quite the flower he thinks she is. She is restless being kept as some torphy, and has an interest in the world. She seceretly seeks out lessons and training in warfare as well as smuggles books from the libarary her father would not wish her to read if he knew. In addtion, unknown to anyone, the blood of a magi flows through her veins giving her certain gifts and ablilites of which she is only just becoming aware, but with no one to teach her, cannot develop to thier full poetential.

She has a rather rare gift. She is a drawer of spells. She quite litterally draws spells of magic. She can cast a spell over anyone simply by drawing a sketch of thier portrait and than drawing the spell around thier image. There is little limit to the nature of the spells in which she can create, anything that can be represented in images she can craft. In addition, she has the ablity to gift others with certain ablitiles and enchantments by etching symbols and images directly upon thier skin. Those as her are often viewed as being dangerous and reguarded with mistrust, so she spends much of her time alone. It can be a lonely life, but she has accepted it for what it is.

It is rumured that she is the mistress of the powerful Lord Shoto, but in truth she is a secret member of his personal guard. At a young age, she began to dispaly a rare natural talent, and learned the art of the Forbidden Dance, but she was prohibbited from entering the Imperial Guard, the wise Lord knew better than to let her talents go to waste, she was far too valuable. To fulfill her presumed role as mystress, she also had to learn the arts of grace, dance, and music. In the eyes of all she is perfection, but beneath that veneer she is also very deadly. It is rumured that she is also gifted with a spiritual insight, and can tell a mans fortune through the casting of special coins that are part of an ancient tradition.

Elayne

A powerful sorcerss, she withdrew from the world finding it was becoming too much for her and she began to feel more and more as if all her efforts came to naught as well as the constant danger and fear of always being alone, never knowing who to trust, she decdied to seek a quite life for herself. She created the Lyons Valour Inn, a rather small establishment tucked away within the woodlands, where it is visited primarly by the occsaional traverls, peddlars, and sometimes woodsmen and hunters. Keeping her true nature a seceret, yet unable to abandoned all her sense of duty, she extends the minium of her power to help those who dwell within the few farm houses of the rather small village, so they think her no more than a healer and a wisewoman, but at her bequest in gratitiude they keep even that a seceret and protect what little they do know of her idenity.

With a thirst for adventure, as she began to grow out of childhood, she wanted to see something more than just the daily chores and goings on of life within the secluded clan in which she was born, so she sat out on her own. In spite of her young age, she had been trained sense she was old enough to walk, and has began to pay her way working as a sell sword, though at first not often proven seriously, she is more than happy to prove her skill. Though she had always been one of the boys growing up, now that she has come to grow out of adolesents she is starting to discover herself as a woman finding new exciments and adventures she likes to live on dangers edge.

After stumbling into a small village injured, she was taken in by the well meaning but rather bossy and stubbron inn keeper, a rather stout woman with a sharp temper. During the process of her recovery she happend to encounter Tyson, the villages blacksmith and a bond grew between them. They began spending more time together as thier friendship grew into something more, a great love between them.

She is known for her skills as a matchmakeer, she seems to have a speical gift, almost like a second sight, her ablity to view two people in a room together, and know they are ment to be together. She often can open the blind eyes of love, and helps guide together, whose hearts were already fated to be bond. Resposneable for many successful marraiges her name and reputation has spread. But it seems her power is lost upon herself, for her own attempts to find love always seem to end in disaster and her judgements fail her when she is looking for herself.

Playful, and mischevious, a bit dramatic at times, she has very high an active emotions, and expresses herself freely. She can be temprimental at times, but also rather senstive, but living true to her name, she is quite cunning and sly and knows how to manipulate others, though she never does it with malecious intent. After running away from home, she lived upon the streets working as a thief. She is rather attracted to pretty things, and shinny objects, and has a vicarrious appitite.
