They got that little baby--baby Abby--alive and well. It happened in rural Missouri. A woman came to the door asking to use the phone (NEVER open the door, offer to make a call for them) and ended up cutting the mother's throat and stealing her newborn. The mother, whose one-yr. old son was sleeping in his room, ran to a neighbor's, which is amazing because it's rurual and she was bleeding. Miraculously, she was only slightly injured. Her husband (she's only 21!) was at work. I read that he passed a lie-detector test and she offered to take one. They found the bloodied knife in the nearby woods, and a fringed scarf which they showed on the news along with a composite sketch of the woman, in case the scarf belonged to her. I just heard that the baby was found safe and the suspect taken into custody. How wonderful for that brave young family!

How frightening! I'm so glad the young Mother is alive and the little babies still have their Mum. What horrors we have in this world, it's just so terrible that you can't trust someone who asks for help. I'm so glad they caught the woman before any harm came to the infant. Tonight on our news I saw the beautiful little baby that was abducted and found with Daddy and poor Mummy trailing behind with her poor throat all bandaged up. The 36 year old women who did this apparently had lost her baby recently and must have flipped over the presipice surely! How sad, because she has lost the plot she will now go to jail. What a tragedy all around. Love and (((hugs))) from Dawnie :-)

gaaah..it's so stupid i can no longer keep up with your entries! This friggin' computer is driving me up the wall! it's so tragiiiic..nyahah. anyway, good for the mummy. where did you hear that?! i was quite shocked, i thought you were going to talk about newborn babies and then suddenly slitting of throats..nya! yay! happy endings! i don't think legends can blame us for not helping suspicious-looking people..haha.you offer help, they kill you..stupid.tsk.low.tsk...anyway, thanks for that entry, it was a nice tip.^^
