11/4/2006 - Are all men like this?

We were walking the dogs in hot weather and we came across a low sprinkler on someone's lawn. My husband actually asked me if he should go around it or go through it!

Just now my husband spotted in the refrigerator an empty, open chicken McNugget* box with the ketchup poured into one side. My son left that in there three days ago. He actually asked me if he should throw it out! Help!

*The building in which are karate classes are now held was built as an accessory gym for after hours sports activities for a local school. My instructor says that the man who built it is independently wealthy because he invented the machine that makes chicken McNuggets. I like to watch people laugh after I tell them that.

Well, I'm not like that. I'll simply walk right thru it, and as for the empty box, and since reading Michael Moore's book Stupid White Men, I've taught myself to automatically throw out all empty containers I find in the fridge. It is typically male to put empty containers back into the fridge yeah, but if men were to read that book, I can't really remember the chapter title, and to pay attention, there is hope for us yet.

maybe i'm wrong but i think women get more annoyed by their husbands than vise versa. I think husbands are too apathetic to get annoyed.
my husband asked at the grocery store "do you think i should get a six pack tonight?"
I don't ever remember telling him not to, but somehow he thought I might be a better judge of things this time around. who knows?

Well, I must say, Susy, I think you're right here. I mean I have read that book and worked on these things that would annoy women about me, and though I've managed to better myself habitually, it's not something I even give any thought to, in a sense that I care or anything. My mindset is exactly the same as before. I've only conditioned myself to do otherwise.

Hiya, i almost choked when i read that! Well, some of my men are exactly like that but some are totally different. It depends on their upbringing and single lifestyles before they're married.
