I haven't had a dream this strange in awhile (sad). I dreamt that I joined a drum and bugle corp! Weird! I haven't thought about them....well, decades...since high school. My really good friend belonged to one and just loved her corp, and the whole idea. I remember other corps based on her raving about them..Phantom Regiment...comes to mind. I dreamt that I joined with a significant other...and I was really happy because their skirts had some sort of  center pleat that made them hang in a really cool way. Only upon waking did I realize that only females who twirl rifles or flags wear skirts. Indeed my friend, was definitely not the skirt type.l In typical dreamlike fashion, we kept trying to find seats in a huge indoor stadium.

The only explanation I could come up with was that in quickly reviewing my 'quere' from Netflix, I noted that the movie, "Drumline" is near the top. This few seconds brought back many memories. My friend Sandy belonged to the Iliana Lancers, which now appears to be defunct. We should consider going to a local DCI (Drum Corp International) show this season with the kids.
