....over nothing really. I shouldn't have spent to much time playing Cakemania 2. But I read and then joined that NaBloPoMa pledge to blog every day for a month. What a great idea for people like me who started a blog (or blogs) because they wanted to write more, but then stopped for poor excuses like, "I'm too busy", "I have nothing interesting to say"(that would be me), or "I'm burned out".
So I promise to be a better blogger as I get ready for karate class, fix up Mango's cage, feed the guinea pigs, and search for a bottle of ketchup.
Here's something cool. My company just started a new security measure for our computer message center/database. I knew it would be a 'key fob' but I was surprised to learn that it doesn't plug into the computer like a zip drive. Why couldn't they just e-mail me the number? Surely I can memorize it and not need the 'fob'. Wrong! The blasted freaky thing has digital numbers. There are about eight bars like on a cell phone to the left of them. About every ten seconds, one of the bars disappears. When they all disappear, the number CHANGES! I had to call the 'global help desk' and have the number synchronized before I could use it. Today when I went to log on, I entered the number, and what appears to be a random, 'next number' requirement popped up. I had to wait until the next number appeared and enter that one too. I work for a publishing compnay, not the Pentagon or Fort Knox. Wow! It's fun, though. Definitely keeps me entertained starring at it.
