Local Santas in Sydney were told to abandon the "Ho, ho, ho line" in favor of  "ha, ha, ha". Since 'ho' is often a slang word for whore, the powers-that-be were concerned that women might be offended. The really funny part is that the director of an agency that protects children from child abuse, called the edict, "ridiculous". Or something like that. Here is a link to the article.
