To those who celebrate it. To those who don't, I hope you have a good day too and a nice Thanksgiving-type holiday when and if your country has one. Thanksgiving is going by the wayside in the u.s. It's being replaced by shopping and preparation  for ridiculously early and frentic shopping the next day. Do you remember the video of  the woman who lost her wig in a WalMart stampede for cheap dvd players? Not me. I'm not inclined to run about in huge crowds tomorrow and grab just any old thing for somebody on my list. I can wait a couple weeks to grab whatever for people on my list.
