Thanks for the mouse post comments! That was my 12-yr. old's first blogging effort, not that I haven't tried to get her and her brother to blog. I'm so proud, sniff sniff. The comments made her day. I too love pet mice and pet rats!!! I don't like the wild ones because they leave messes and can be destructive. We do get mice occasionally in the fall, ever since we got the composter. I set out glue boards, but I always use vegetable oil and a plastic knife to remove them, and then I release them at a nearby trail. They are just the cutest things!  I once saw a wild rat in a subway and I was totally terrorized.

Of course, a school obviously infested with mice does not make Janitor Ted look good. I actually answered the phone when Sylvia called today. She was predictably mortified when I told her about the mice :)
