Ugh! Isn't the president (small p) supposed to speak on Tuesdays, when we are safe at karate and not likely to come into accidental contact with the t.v. or the radio? Isn't that how it's always worked?  He probably doesn't want to go up against American Idol! Gee, American Idiot* vs. American Idol? I wonder who would win?  I absolutely can't stand to hear any of it. I hate Bush's sheer arrogance, especially from someone who has absolutely nothing to be arrogant about. I liked his father, I was very disappointed when he did not get re-elected. I did not like President Clinton until the Oklahoma bombing. (911 did not have the same effect on me with Bush. Made it worse. Besides, it was his job to prevent this sort of thing.) I now him very much. When I heard that Bush's (I) was a possible future presidential candidate, I remember thinking, "That sounds great!"  That's the last positive thing I can ever remember thinking about Bush. I can't even remember when I figured out that he was no good, but it must've been early on.
