The latest u.s. mall shooting took place a mere 7 miles from my house.   A Chicago reporter interviewed a woman who had no connection to the story other than the fact that she regularly shops at that store.  Ah, the dangers of letting someone ramble on into a live mic. Please follow this link and fast forward to about 1:49 into the video. Listen to what this woman says about her daughter. Did she have to spell it out? Also take notice of the slumping blob next to her that actually is her daughter. I wish I could say that this lady is not a typical southwest sider. Oh, how I wish.
