I found this computer in my new house and it's a good thing. I'm just a (formerly) homeless dog and new here.  I can't talk to my dog friend in the next yard. I can't call my breeder. I'm just stuck. I'm Oreo. I'm part boxer and and part something that looks like a miniature lab. I'm black and white and about knee high.  Two days ago I was transported to a shelter called TLC in Homer Glen, Il. What an awful, cramped, bumpy ride. I was put into a run in a building with cats, barking dogs, overwhelming odors to my sensitive nose, and a lot of activity. It's all a blur. I woke up the next morning and couldn't remember where I was. Some people came in and fed me, thank goodness. They cleaned my run the best they could. Some people came in. The door opened and this lady caught site of me. I gave it everything I had. I stood up, put my paw on the cage door, looked her in the eye and cried just a bit. It seemed to work, she went right to me and cooed at me. Darn! She had come to see another dog and her son reminded her of that. There was a Will County Forest Preserve policeman in there too, probably to look for a dog reported lost. He said to her something like, "This is the hard part, huh?"  She nervously agreed. When she had parked, she was a bit over the line. He pulled in next to her and she mistakenly thought he was mad at her for her poor parking job.

Got to go, someone's coming. More later.
