The fact that they let people beg for money outside of our local Jewel. I know, I hate me too. That's so mean, that's so uncharitable. My problem is that every weekend there is some group collecting money. If I don't give, I feel guilty. If I do give, I feel like the dollar or so in coupons that I saved and actually manged to show up with at the time that I wanted the product. I suppose that the money that I saved could go to the charity because I would have spent it anyway. It's just that after awhile I need a break. One time I slid right through while somebody was talking to another customer. They even cover the more out of the way doors if there are enough of them. Of course it's different when PAWS, the shelter where we got two of our dogs. Usually I bring the dogs in the car when I go to the store because they absolutely love it. PAWS day is usually in the hottest part of the summer so I typically won't have them with. I not only give, but I drive the 5 min. back home and return with them in the car to show how deleriously happy we are. When the dogs see the volunteer and his/her dog, they lunge at the window and bark like all our lives depend on it. Oh well, they'll just have to take my word for it.
