12/5/2005 - Death and dismemberment

Posted in Unspecified

The night started off quite somber, attending the funeral of a brave soldier.

We also met with a seasoned Forsaken Warlock.  Poor thing, he never saw us coming when we took him out.  He put up a good fight, however, one should never underestimate the power of a Macarena proficient priest who dabbles in the shadow craft herself.  Especially when she brings her own pet meat shield.

After tinkering around the islands of Feralas for a bit, Khurdakh exclaims "Let's explore!"  One must remember when they are squishy, that this one expression can lead to ones untimely demise.

So explore we did, and saw much of the beautiful terrain on the island.  And then, we saw this...

Of course, we died at the hands of these within seconds.

It wasn't long before we found ourselves safe and sound and back on the road...

11/18/2005 - Where has Gwynnie Gone?

Posted in Unspecified

Aye, my friends (and perhaps foes as well!), I have been out travelling for some time now.  Let me see if I can remember all of my adventures recently and pen them for you.

The battlefield of Arathi Basin has been calling my number, and I have done my duty to serve our King and protect our resources.   So much so that as of this week, I have been  made a corporal in the King's Brigaide!  I have laid my healing hands on many of our foot soldiers on the battle field, as is the duty of any priestess when she is able to.  In turn, my comrads have learned to protect me.  I've even found myself a human shield to take on the battlefield!  Khurdakh makes for a great protector and one day, he will be dubbed a knight, I am sure of it.  Trefoil, a sly hunter who I consider my trusty companion in battle, and his pet, often come with us on our travels.  It won't long before I am no longer needed with these foot soldiers and can advance into the battles of mounted heros!

As well, it wasn't all that long ago that my comrads and I made a trip to the Scarlet Monastery.  We fought our way through the treacherous lands and the masses of Horde that came across our path.  We lost a few along the way but managed to escape their hands by mere seconds!  Perhaps I could write some more soon, however, duty is calling for me and I will have to postpone my update...

Ahhhh, it has been a while since I've last updated my journeys.  Samhain has fallen upon us and I spent a great deal of time and effort aquiring the perfect costume.  This year I tried my best to be a pirate and succeeded!

As well, my journeys have taken me to far off lands.  Recently, I made a trip out to Lakeshire for a respite, and met up with a few pirate who were mucking around the waters edge.  I took a picture of our journey and one of them enchanted me as a beloved pirate!!

10/24/2005 - Great battles will be faught one trogg at a time

Posted in Unspecified

Ahhh, I have a penchant for writing so you will have to bare with me while I detail the adventures of the eve'!  I must also add that I am truly blessed with a formidable teacher, as she took pity upon my rustic garb and gave me some much needed robes and other miscelaneous gear!

Onto the events that transpired...My good friend Ziffle, an up and coming mage of 18 seasons, and I took ourselves to the vaste green regions of Loch Modan.  I had to do a quick peek to make sure our kamakaze paladin was nowhere to be found!  We ventured forth, taking down troggs and bears and spiders that infiltrated our path.  Several close calls were barely missed, but we managed to survive with minimal damage.

And today I celebrated my 17th season in priestesshood.  I am eternily greatful to our king for providing us with the forces we need to continue battling on against the Horde.

On that note, I did cross paths with one of the Forsaken.  bah! What were they thinkin', crossing over our pure lands?  He simply nodded in my direction and went on his way, perhaps to venture forth to Uldaman.  I hear that is where Knights are made and many soldiers eat dirt.

Hallows Eve' is slowly creeping up on us, I'll have to start considering how I will choose to celebrate the holiday of Samhain.  In pagan culture, I'm told this is the bestial new year, and so I look forward to ushering out the old and ringing in the new with style!  It will also mean that our crops need harvesting, in which case, I will have to find myself a path as far away from these human lands as I possibly can! No need to get these hands dirty, righ'?  Perhaps, if I'm lucky, I can befriend someone who can magically cast a Pirate Aura on me

10/24/2005 - Misadventures of the Kamakaze Paladin

Posted in Unspecified

And so ye begin ta follow me journey into me 16th season as a priestess of the human lands.  I have yet to find my footing hold in my training, howe'er I did find myself in quite the predicament this mornin'!  It seems I was not the only adventurer who could smell the scent of blood amongst the Troggs of Loch Modan.  There was a young paladin prancing abou' lookin' for some assistance.  After beggin' with me and pleadin' for my healin' han's, I agreed to be his keeper for the mornin'.

What ensewed was quite the event!  No sooner had I prepared myself and granted us the fortitude of great knights, and he had bestowed upon me the greatest of blessin's, did he yell out "A'ight, be ready, I'm abou to bring the enemy" and soon, I found myself tryin' to save a near massacre! Ten - no twelve troggs found their way to his neck, and torso, tryin' to rip 'em to shreds.  But my healin' han's were workin' their magic and soon, I was able to salvage what was left of him an' prepare 'im for battle.

An' he did this on more than one occassion!  I always thought that I had that crazy streak, but I do believe this boy had to be inbred!  Heavens have looked down and the glory of light has gotten only slightly dimmer with this kamakaze soul leadin' the pack o' knights!

10/21/2005 - Greetings and Salutations

Posted in Unspecified

Here you will find the virtual portal for the affairs of the vestal maiden Gwynn, a priestess by her own birthright as her mother before her, and her mother before her.  The only daughter of Tholina, an apprenticed healer of the human lands, and her commoner father Gale Minote, a smithy well versed in the templed swords, Gwynn often found herself in a mess of trouble.  For that reason, Tholina sent Gwynn off to foster apprenticeship under the care of the beautiful and knowledgeable Priestess Indil.  Under her watchful eye, perhaps there is still good that can become of Gwynn.
