Has MSNBC gone bonkers are they completely insane? Today the was an unfortunate explosion in Upper East Side Manhattan NY and MSNBC with breaking coverage acted in a completely insane bizarre manner. First they tried to link it to terrorism, then seemed disgustingly disappointed when that turned out not to be the case, then came up with all this supposition with an e-mail linking the explosion with a suicide attempt
The problem i have will all this is that they went on air with just theories no basis in fact no confirmed source but just wild rumor.
Is this what journalism has turned into tabloid National Enquirer garbage?
I for one am completely disgusted. This is not what I was taught by my professor in college. Ethics, moral judgements all out the window just to be first with the story getting the facts now is secondary being first even if the facts are incorrect now superceedes being perhaps second but at least with correct facts and not rumors, theories and inuendos. We should be ashamed of our goddamn media
