Poll: More Americans Rejecting Iraq War-Terror Link
A new NYT/CBS poll shows that 51% of Americans now reject the notion that the war in Iraq is part of the “war on terror”, an increase of ten points since June. Furthermore, almost half believe that the U.S. has concentrated on Iraq to the exclusion of terror threats elsewhere. The rapid shift is bad news for the GOP with the November elections looming, as Republicans have increasingly sought to paint the war in Iraq as crucial to security at home Heather™
