Mayor Rudy Giuliani of New York City was originally thought to have been a hero for his handling of 9/11, but closer examination is showing he may not have done such a great job after all. The EPA was telling Rudy that the toxic soup in the area (why there should have been a toxic soup is a good question if the government's version of the story was correct) was dangerous, but Rudy disregarded the advice, allowing local residents to return right away, and many are now getting sickand dying as a result. Also the protocol was for the unified management of the police and fire departments, but Giuliani allowed the two organizations to operate separately, probably costing a lot of lives as well.
