Lately MSNBC has what they call Docblock / Lockup thing they run 10pm - midnight simply put...its about criminals in jail and their psychotic anti-social behavior in jail, I'm not exactly sure what their goal is here, does MSNBC want us to pity these people? Bear in mind that these are the dregs of humanity many of which have committed horrific crimes murder[s] brutal rape[s] kidnappings child molestations etc. I just cannot see the justification for giving these criminals air time on television and interviewing them as though they are some kind of celebrities. MSNBC also showcases their behavior... why do they think we want to see such violence as guard and inmate stabbings, homosexual rape, throwing feces at guards, psychotic temper tantrums, excessive cursing, swearing? I for one do not! Do people actually see these bizarre things as entertainment, if so what does this say about American society?
I find this scary, and as an American Citizen I'm ashamed and disgraced they promote and use this as an entertainment value, people that enjoy watching the suffering of others simply qualify as sadists.
Criminals are in jail for one reason only and that's punishment for the crimes they committed and were convicted of, not to be interviewed as rock stars, or for others to get their rocks off at home watching the misery and suffering of others!
Where are the so called moral Republicans on this issue, the FCC, are they that afraid to stand up for decency? Let MSNBC put this garbage on pay per view and off basic cable...oh thats right, I forgot, no one in their right mind would pay for garbage like that!
MSNBC you should stop airing this program and do what's morally responsible and decent rather that what's prurient interest and greed for ratings and money, thats the way I feel, I'm curious to the opinions of others, please feel free to comment on this.
