Largest Sex Discrimination Case inU.S. History

That’s right, agroup of seven women are bringing a class-actionlawsuit down on Wal-Mart for gender bias in pay andpromotions.


The case is estimated to cover more than 1.5 million women, including current and formeremployees at Wal-Mart, which is the largest private employer in theUnited States and the world’s biggest retailcompany.

Court documents reveal thattwo-thirds of Wal-Marts 1.2 million employees in the U.S. are women,but only one-third of Wal-Mart’s managerial positions are offeredthem.

Not even "greening" can redeem Wal-Mart for me.Not even close.

How discriminatory! I can't stand Wal-mart. They are so callous towards their employees. Sam Walton would not have stood for this kind of behavior. At least I hope so.
