Well at the risk of sounding like a broken record I need to further express my anger at the media in general and MSNBC in particular for all this anti-Clinton nonsense and this ongoing Obama kiss ass tour that they are on.
What offends me most is this pervasive sexism that seems to be ubiquitous on MSNBC as a woman I find it abhorrently offensive and I hope every woman here at JH feels the same way. It's a double edged sword because not only is it a woman's rights issue but it's all the more important because it's relevant to who wins the Democratic nomination.
It's a intellectual con game the media is playing; they actually feel that they can influence an election by the way they cover the candidates, and its exactly what they are trying to do, its blatantly obvious to me as I think it would be to most women, we tend to be more intuitive then men on average. If one goes to Media Matters they will see that Hillary Clinton receives a far higher percentage of negative coverage from the media then Barack Obama does.
One example was last night on the Dan Abrams Program near the end of the show he had to bash Bill Clinton over something so silly and trite it left me totally bewildered; Dan Abrams felt it necessary to mention that Bill Clinton lost some stupid meaningless Grammy to Barack Obama just to add salt to the wound and another lame excuse to bash the Clintons, I just find it infuriating. Another clever con game being played by Abrams is this super delegate psychobabble he is trying to push. It seems Dan Abrams wants to tell these super delegates how to vote, by that I mean that he erroneously makes the assessment that they should not go against the pledge delegates and all these extreme left wingers that control these political caucuses which Obama literally bought but the media tends to ignore that! The fact is that super delegates have no and I repeat no moral obligation to vote the same way the pledge delegates did. But Dan Abrams and the rest of the MSNBC's jerky journalists are going to browbeat these super delegates into submission and guilt that they cannot vote for the horrible Clintons sorry but you need to vote in favor of Barrack Obama…Well I am sorry but this Irish Gal has got her Irish Mick up, if I were a super delegate I'd vote my will and my conscience and if it differs from the majority of pledge delegates then so be it!
In the New York Times Op-Ed columnist Paul Krugman wrote an excellent article titled "Hate Springs Eternal" in which he justifiably says he sees
"venom coming from Obama supporters". Do you think he could possibly think he is talking about his colleagues in the media? MSNBC, Chris, Joe, Mica, David, Tucker…do you think he could possibly be referring to you?
To all Sen. Hillary Clinton supporters I ask that you please stay the course, don't waver and hang on until March 5 when Texas and Ohio come into play and Sen. Hillary Clinton can and will regain lost ground. I'm outta here
