Been Thinking

and I am not so sure what to do today, I have the voucher to join up WW for free, it expires 19/11/05 but, then I think I am sensible intelligent and must be able to work this out myself, other people have ( Like M http://www.leonell.blogspot.com/ and Sue http://smallersue.blogspot.com/ who are doing it from home) so I think I will give myself 3 weeks to sort this out, I will be tracking, exercising and then I will be drinking water too! I pledge to give this a 100% go, Hell I have all the tools so just need to get my sh** together.

Okay start weight 106.0 as of 13/10/05

So here goes;

This one step, choosing a goal and sticking to it, changes everything! - Scott Reid

So a few goals: short-term 6 of them

Aim for 8 glasses of water per day

Reduced consumption of Diet Coke

Reduce consumprion of white bread

Track and count points

Use any/all tools to assist.

Gym at least 3 times per week.

So a few goals: by Christmas

BE A DOUBLE DIGIT DORA

and be able to look back and feel good about my achievements

I have a perfectly great incentive for this as my Family are congregating on us for Christmas, I want to feel normal, and I know that it will be a long time effort on my part to reach goal, at least they will be able to see I am trying. The last time we were all together, whilst still having a fab time, I felt odd woman out, the fat and frumpy one. I remember that on one occasion when we were all dressed up for my brothers birthday party, my young niece was complimenting everyone saying how beautiful and slim thay all looked, then she turned to me and said in her beautiful sweet voice, and you Aunty M look beautiful and slim too! Bless her, she would make a great politician!!

I read heaps of journals on line, I thank all of those people who bare their souls, I can't quite do that yet, but I will try to be honest and open as I can.

Cheers

Yaaaaaaaaaaa. Whooo hooooo. Congratulations for rejoining ww'ers and for starting a journal. I hope that, like me, you get so much satisfaction from putting your thoughts and goals down, clearing up unresolved issues, learning new things about yourself, and picking up a great support group at the same time.

I am so excited for you. And yes, I was hellishly nervous when I first started my blog but it was the best thing I ever did - after actually deciding to clean up my act that is. LOL.

You will do so well Margaret. And I am so glad that other people are going to have the chance to get to know you too. You have set yourself some really great achievable goals and I LOVE the picture you put with your last post. Hilarious. And one I should remember:)

I hope you have a wonderful wonderful day and I will put you as a favourite on my site when I update later today. :)

(remember to put your blog address down if and when you post any comments so that people have an opportunity to return the favour)

Congratulations on the big decision!

Hi - just wanted to say congrats on making the decision to join WW and also to keep an on line journal. My only regret about the journal is that I didn't do it sooner!! It really helps to know that whenever you want to pour out your feelings either good or bad that there is always someone there to listen!

Best of luck and I will bookmark you to see your progress! Have a great week :)

Well done!

Hi Margaret! I found out all about you from the other Margaret!

As you'll find, blogging is such a great idea - especially to keep you focussed on healthy living. You also have neat blog mates that share you highs and lows.

It's great that you've rejoined WW. I joined up 5 years ago and sucessfully lost 17kg. The last time around I'm going it alone, but have loads of support from online friends. I've taken a long break from counting points, but I've managed to maintain quite nicely. Back to counting real soon!

I've bookmarked your blog and will be checking in regularly

Regards

Rachel
