System FailureTweet Earlier this morning I was working on the server remotely while tweaking the script. In between me tweaking the script, I had lost connection to the server. At the time of the connection drop the script was being updated, and it didn't take therefore, it left the site in dismay. The site was throwing out funky warning messages, when you try to go to the site. I was unable to re-connect to the site to upload the script again. Luckily for me, I was only a 20 minute commute from the server. I immediately rushed over to the box and corrected the problem. I would say the site was down for approximately 30 minutes. There were no major consequences and no information was lost. If you were one of the few who tried to login this morning between 10 am - 10:30 am, then you may have experienced this issue. To put you at ease, all is fine now, and you can login as normal, without any worries about lost information. I aplogize for any inconveinence. 17h43 - 2/22/2005 - post comment
