Added another spam check tool.Tweet Sadly it is not a foul proof system, not all spammers will be caught and not all bad accounts will be locked, but it should go a long way to remove all the 'dead' spammer accounts. I looked at other blog services and I am shocked at the number of spam entries that they have, some of the services were killed by those spam accounts and I don't want that to happen to JournalHome. I have already removed a few hundred accounts, (the obvious ones), and all new spam fake accounts should be removed without delay, the main problem is the accounts that have been around since 2005. I still want to remove them, (I think they give a bad impression of the blogs here). For now, the robot does not remove spam account automatically, I will set it in automatic mode once I am happy it is working as expected. I also noticed that editing/submitting new entries is very slow, this is because of the 'ping' service. I am working on it and should have a solution soon. FFMG 13h40 - 11/30/2010 - post comment
