What have I been up to?

I have made almost no changes to JournalHome for a while apart from some small code cleanup.

RSS, for example, is now available, (if you chose this option), on your visitors favorite browser/RSS reader.

This just makes their life a little easier for them, if you use firefox you should see a little RSS logo on the address bar.

We also have a more global RSS in case you want to keep upwith the whole JournalHome community, (http://www.journalhome.com/rss_all.php).

I fixed a small display error on some pages as well, (thanks DAWNIE for pointing those out).

I have also added an Adsense option for those of you who want to make money with your blogs, (don't worry, it is off by default).

Fox example I added it to my own blog, some say it is tacky,while others make a good living from it :). Trust me, I dont.

If you are interested please let me know, you can set the option in your profile page, (at the bottom). But I will write some kind of tutorial about it.

I have also closed a bunch of loopholes that my friendly spammers seem to have found, (thanks guys!).

I swear I am going to write an article when this is all done and ask the university of London to give me aPHD in website security, (I know some clever spark thinks that the site is nowhere near secure, but for me, it is :) ).

What next?

Like I said, I am going to write some pretty tutorials at some stage. A lot of people are having trouble adding images to their blogs or don't know how to use of the functions in the control panel, (truth be told neither do I).

I want to make it easier to add/remove images to your entries, ">'cause it is a bit of a pain at the moment.

And I might also change the profile page, ('cause it isugly), so that it uses your own template, ('cause after all you chose it, not me).

Let me know if you can think of anything else that needs to be looked at, and I'll try to make it so.

On a personal note, I am going to be away for a couple of days, going to relax in some park for the week-end.
