YouTube support

Posted in News

I have been told over and over again that the way JournalHome.com handles YouTube is very user friendly.

So I created a new tag

<youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QS3TT8R57Jc>

Now all you need to do is use the link given by youtube.com and the picture will appear.

You can also set the width and height of the video, but there are some limitations set by YouTube.

<youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QS3TT8R57Jc width=425 height=350>

  • <youtube:... followed by the path of the video as given by YouTube.com. [required]
  • width= the width you would like it to be [optional].
  • height=the height you would like it to be [optional].
  • If you want to use the word \<youtude:, (who doesn't?), just put a forwad slash, ('\'), in front of it.

And in the spirit of St Patrick's Day, I give you...

Let me know how that works for you...

Roll on google videos.
