JournalHome now Compatible with most publishing applications.

I have added the possibility to edit your posts with desktop blog publishing applications.

You can use all the big name, (I am using Windows Live Writer to create this post). This is very nice if you want to edit your blog offline or simply don't like the current editor, (I know everybody loves the JH editor, but who know).

So what do you need to do to get started?

1. Download your favorite blog publishing application, (Windows Live Writer, Movable Type or ScribeFire if you are a FireFox user).
2. Enter the address of your blog, in my case it is http://www.journalhome.com/JournalHome/
3. Enter your user name and password.
4. And start typing away.

You can upload pictures edit posts and so on.

Of course this is all in beta, but we have to get started somewhere I guess.
I will add a very short tutorial to use Live writer and ScribeFire.

For the technical minded people the API used is MetaWeblog and any blog publishing app that support 'RSD' will work just fine.

Let me know if you come across any issues, (big or small). Hopefully the small tutorials will soon make more sense of the whole thing.

Ha... I have been clowning around with Live Writer lately, so maybe I'll try this as well, although I like the 'old' way very much.

Thank you very much. I have been wanting something like this for a while. It's what I asked about in the forum a while ago about implementing the API.

I look forward to using this feature. I will hopefully be able to increase my posting more.
