Moving to a new server.

Posted in News

As some of you know, I have been wanting to move to a new server for a while now and JournalHome is very close to running out of space, (some say it is a good thing).
But more importantly it should make the whole thing a bit faster and have a lot less down time, (something that has been plaguing JH for a while now).

I have found a new cozy place to move to and I am going to make a 'practice' run to the new server so I have an idea of how long it will take to move.

I cannot believe that it will take more than an hour to do the complete move, (especially after a practice run). But in any case I once I know how long it will take and what it involves I will make some sort of 'official' announcement as to when the move will happen and how long the site will be down, (I will have to close the site for that short time, kind of 'controlled' down time).
