China Doll Resurrected!

I wrote China Doll a while back and put it aside when I was on deadline to finish my book Getting It in Writing. Since that manuscript has gone to my publisher, I was looking for the next project. My China Doll was calling to me from my back room as she said on my couch with her eyes half closed. I could hear her saying, "What are you waiting for? I've been here ready to tell my story and what are you doing? Writing about writing instead of writing. Get with it, girl," she chided. So with that in mind, and China Doll hollering at me each time I passed the doorway, I decided to post her story and finish the tale.
