The first phase of construction outside of the McGinnis Room is now complete. Today Larry and Santos started digging the footers for the patio.  It will look fabulous when its finished.  One day"¦ maybe two"¦ and phase two will be completed.  Then we move on to the roof. 

Our sunroom/media center is working out really well. I would say every night, one or two couples watch a movie and enjoy the sounds of the waterfall and fountain.  Im glad RJ moved the entertainment center into the sunroom from our house, especially since we were not using it there.

Today I added something new to my waffles.  I made cranberry-maple butter. Very nice on spiced pumpkin waffles. My guests raved this morning. One even suggested that I should create a recipe book of my breakfasts. Hmmm"¦ thats an idea.  I mean, I do have some pretty great breakfast dishes.  From over-baked pancakes to Crème Brule French toast with Grand Marnier, think I have quite a variety to prepare my guests.  Maybe I should start writing these down with little vignettes to go along with them.  Sounds like a plan.
