The day and my birthday are over. I sit on my bed with my laptops screen glowing, reflecting my words. The television is on and a DVD is playing - Stephen Kings Nightmare and Dreamscapes. The day was busy. The Select Registry books were delivered this morning - all 25 cases. I like the way they look, very nice.
Our furniture from Stickley Audi & Co. came shortly there after. I was so impressed. The fabric we choose fits perfectly in the parlor. The couch is from the Sutherland period with tapestry fabric in muted gold with a touch of red and green. The chair is a striped pattern in shades of gold and brown. The Martha Washington chair is in red and gold print. It looks just gorgeous on the green print carpet. I decide to take a picture tomorrow for Michael to put up on the web. I think about finishing my newsletter. The July issue will be finished soon and it will be sent to those on my distribution list.
RJ says he wants to take me out to dinner tomorrow. I tell him Id like to go to Hunts Pub for Chicken Wings and beer. What a great way to celebrate! We will have more time tomorrow after our 6 rooms check-out.
My baking is out of the oven. The Cranberry Nut Bread is golden and warm. The Sour Cream Coffee Cake smells of cinnamon. They sit cooling on top of the rack on the stove.
Tomorrow will be busy with other work. I need to work on the book Im co-editing with Dr. Sam Totten and Jamie Highfill. Our contributors will be guidance as they complete their chapters. Paperwork is piling up and I need to catch up. I think my ironing is as high as my paperwork. I begin to feel tired. Its 12:42 AM. Time to call it a day. Good night.
P.S. If you are interested in my newsletter, "Inn the News," please send me your email address and I will add you to my distribution list.
