ohhhh  the   memories   with  these  2.  lol

I    remember    going   to   the   Rx  drug   store,   probably  don't   even  have  those   kind   of  pharacy's   any  more....    I   remember  seems   like   a   skillens  and   wards    then    Eckards   and   now   CVS  and   Walgreens  might    have   always    been  around,    I   don't   know   and   I   know   they  had    other   drug  stores    I    don't    know  about.   I  even   reeber  what  the  store   looked   like  inside   this  was  in  1973.  WOW!

Mom    and   I   went   to  the    Rx   drug  store   and    I  seen  these  two    I  remember   really   liking  them   when   I    first   seen   them    we    have  always   had   finacial  problems   but   mom  got    me   1   of   the  dolls   oh  decisons,   decisons  which  one   to   get    I  decided   on   The   Quick  Curl  Barbie,    I   don't   know  why   i   decided   on   her   1st    but    I   have  no  regrets    I   took   her   home   and   played  with   her   and   curled   her  hair   but    we   both   had   a  longing  for   Mr  Mod  Ken  she   needed  her  husand.

I  don't   know   when    my  parents  got   me   Mr   Mod  Ken   probably  was  on    my   7th    birthday....   I   know   me   and   espcially  Quick  Curl  Barb  was   happy!    I   appreciated   mom  getting   me  Barbie   I  wasn't   ungrateful  but   she    was   the  only  Barbie  at   the  time   I  had   and   of  course   I  wanted   him   so    we   both   could   all  play   together.    I  know  I  was  so   happy!    I   didn't   have   them  long,    my  dolls,    the  night  before   July  22,  1973    my  parents,   I   a   friend   dad  worked  with  at  D  Cash  Register  Co...   at    the   time   and   this   friends  daughter   Wendy  went   to   our  property   we   found   in   the  woods   it's   beautiful   it   looks  like   "Snow  White   and  The  Seven  Drawfs"    and   we  had   a   picnic  I  had   this   Long  John  Silvers  Pirate  doll   the  masscott   for  their  copany  I  guess  you'd  say   and   I   would  throw   him   to  her  and  she'd  throw  him back  to   me,     I   would  chase   her   and  she'd   chase   me,   I   don't   really  remeber   to   much   about   that   day  except   it  was  extremely  hot   that   day    and   the   dad  stopped  at   DQ   and  got   us   as   sundee  to  eat   was   delicous   I   remember   that,   and    we   came  home  in   talked  for   a  few   minutes   and   Wendy   and   I  went   in   my   room   and  it   seems   like    I  couldn't    find   my  babies  any   where   I  was   really  upset   and  Wendy   said  that's   o.k    I   am   tired   you  wore    me  out   and    she  went  in   the  living  room  told   her    dad   the  same  thing   she   wanted  to   go  home   the   dad   said   he's   sorry   when   she   gets  tired  she  gets  crancky   and  they  had   a   good   drive   home   they  left   we   went   to   bed,   I   don't   remember  mom   or   dad   waking    me  up,    I  know  one  or  both  did    dad   had   intergestion   and   went   in  the  kitchen   to   get    a   alka  seltzer   and   by    the   window   we   had  a   chair   fat  white  comfortable  chair    and    our  curtians   where   blazing   with   flames   from   the   fire  and   mom   bless  her  heart   was   trying   to   put  it    out    my  dad  got  he  away    from  it   and   said   wake   me  up.     There   was  no  way  she  could  have   stopped  it    she   would   have   got  hurt   or  killed  trying    because  from    our   attic    and   I   didn't   even  know  we  had  one  was   where  the  fire  stated   and    it    was   because   the  constuction   company  builders  used   cheap   nickle  plated   wiring   and   it   fused   the   fire   why  it   took  so   long   I  have  no  idea    we   lived  there   since   I   was   2   years  old.

Thank   goodness   because   of   my   dad    we   where  able   to  survive  and  get   out!    I   kept  going   back   in   the  apartment   and   mom  kept   running  back   in  we   were  on  the  top  building  and   I   was  scared  to  jump   of   the   balcony    I   was   afaid   I  would  break  something   I  finally  junped  to   my   dad's   safety   and  mom.

Dad   went    to   help   all   our   neighboors    in   the  building   he   had   to  break   windows   and    we   were  so   scared   because   a   long  time   there   we    didn't   see  him   the  night   was  solid   blk   with  purple   and   blk  skies   above   us   it   was   scary   and    here   comes   dad   relief   flooeded  though  us   and   terror    he   had   a   bloody  arm   with   a   long  gash  ans  his  muscle  was  hanging   out   of   his   arm   none  of   the  neighboors   wanted   to  help   one    man  said   his  keys   whee  in   his  apartment  another  just   had   their  car   upholsted   and   didn't   want   to   get  blood  in  his   car   every   one   had   a   excuse   a   police  man   was   very  nice   he   took   dad   to   the  hospital   and   2   others   took   us   in   their  police   car  to   the  hospital   it   was   devaating  and  absolutely   terrifying   for  us   al;   the   fire,  lossing   eveything   we   owned   the   most   horifying   was   seeing  dad   with   his   arm   like  it   was    we   were  so   scared   he   was  going  to  bled   to  death  before  anyone   would  help  us.   Thank Goodness  for  the  Angel  Officer  in  blue.

I   wont   say  her   name   on   here  she  probably   wouldn't   care   but   Mrs  JC    and   her   son  B    lived   in  that  apartment   and   I   don't   know  if  he  son   was   with   his  father    I  don't   remember   dad   saying  the  young  boy  was   there  but   Mrs   C   woke   up   by   dad   started  screaming  her  hair  in  rollers   she   thought  dad    was   a  bugular   and   he   finally  calmed  he  down   to  let   her   know   the  apartment  complex   was   on  fire   and   he  got   her  out   safely    and   she   made  a  big   effort   to   find  out  where  we  were  living   at   the  time   at   my   dad's   father's   house   and   she  wrote  a  extremly   sweet   thank you  note.    Will  never   forget  her  for   that   and   we  ever   she  and   her   son   are   we  wish   them   the  best,   happiness,  good   health   and   much  love    and  safety   for   them  both.

Mom  and   I   gave   my   big   Raggedy  Ann  doll   to   a  ltttle   girl   name  Kristy   who   was   my   age   in   the  fire   and   she  gave    me   her   nice  barbie  doll  house   with   a   barbie   doll   I   appreciate  it  so   much   her  kindness   and  thoughtfulness    and    I   wish  we   could   find  one  another  again.

We  had   all  my   toys    and    clothing   everything   that   was  not   large  stolen   from  us   and   my   great   grandma   mom's   mother's   mom   is   a  wonderful   lady   but  she   was   forgetful   and   left  the  garage  door  unlocked   and  people   where  stealing   from   us   in  there  too.

These  dolls   and   I   have   a  lot   of   history   together  in  out  short  time  together  but   we   found   each   other  again   I   found   them   and   I  was   so  happy   on  ebay   their  used   but   they  look  like  the  ones  I   had   and  that's   exctally   what   I  wanted.

I  have   some  stories   to  share  with  you.

They  danced   a   lot   and  1   time  like   in  the  comercial   with   Ken  and  Barbie   I  had   him  pick   her   up   and   she  was  bent  over  his  shoulder  and   I   had   her  feet  kicking  saying  put   Me  down,  Put   me  down  right  now!    I   remeber   that  like  it   was  yesteday.

well   I    couldn't   sleep   I   wasn't   feeling  to  well   I   still  don't   feel  like  I   should   but    I   shall  try  to  sleep   nightmares   and   it  makes   me  dread  going  to  sleep.

Been   doing   quite   well  walking  zip   and   Nanny  Frito   and    I  do   my  large   tramplion  Paul   and   I   have  jumping   on  it   with   the  girls  and   him   on  Saturdays/Sunday's,   I  do   the    glidder  machine   and   susan  luci pilates  machine,   On   Monday   Walk  away  the  pounds  dvd,  Tues/Thurs  kick  boxing  and   Friday  Belly  dancing  with  the  girls.  

I  do  in  the  morning  also   contemporary  yoga   tell  you  about  later.
