What God Never Forgets

REFERENCE:  Heb. 6:10 For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.

Observation:  When we serve God and His people, God does not forget it--He will reward us for it. Sometimes we look at the results of our serve and they seem pretty meager. Maybe it is a Bible study that way too few attend, or an evangelistic campaign where too few receive Christ. What we have to remember is that, ultimately, we are not serving people we are serving God. People will forget. In fact, they often do. People can be ungrateful for all we do for them. God, on the other hand, nevver forget and never fails to reward.

Application/Confession: When I feel like there is little reward for all I do for God and His people (and, frankly, there are a lot of those times)  I need to be assured--God is not unjust and He will not forget. This is a real comfort at times.

PRAYER: Thank you that you have not forgotter. People are unjust--forgetting all that is done for them, but you are not and you don't forget. I will wait patiently for your reward, not others.
